We are thrilled to announce that our 8th annual Boo Charity Ball smashed all records this year, with a whooping £27,000 raised on the night, with one generous doner pledging £10,000 alone!
The black tie event took place on Saturday 3rd June at AFC Bournemouth, welcoming over 130+ attendees. The night saw live music by BB3, reception drinks, a three-course meal and the charity auction that was so successful this year. We were also delighted that our special guest Elisha Abuonji could join us, all the way from Africa. Elisha was Sarah’s nurse and so has always had a special place in our hearts at Boo. Recently Elisha has joined us on a more formal basis, to help the work of Boo in Kenya, and we are thrilled he was able to join us.
All donations made on the night will be going to two main projects, the Seed of Hope Project and the Kibera Childhood Development Project, both of which are aimed at supporting the education of hundreds of children in Kenya.
If you would like to support the education of disadvantaged children in Africa, why not become our friend.
