Delighted to announce that preparations are well underway for the 8th annual BOO Charity Ball, to be held in the Balfour Suite at the AFC Bournemouth stadium on Saturday 3rd June 2017.
The black tie event this year will be focused on supporting two main projects, the Seed of Hope Project and the Kibera Childhood Development Project, both of which are aimed at supporting the education of hundreds of children in Kenya.
The Ball will include reception drinks, a 3 course dinner, a charity auction and live music by BB3. Tickets are priced at £65 per head, with tables of 10 available.
In previous years, the Ball has attracted 150+ attendees and last year raised over £18,000, 100% of which was invested directly into the projects the charity supports.
Russell Hicks, founding trustee of the BOO Charity, has just returned from visiting many of the sites BOO supports in Kenya:
“To see first hand the work being undertaken as a direct result of BOO’s support is overwhelming, knowing that we are really making a difference to hundreds if not thousands of children’s lives. The Ball is a fantastic way for us to say thank you to all our supporters, and to raise funds to continue the brilliant work that is ongoing. I hope many of our supporters can come to the Ball and enjoy what should be a fabulous event”.
