Another year goes by and another successful Boo Ball goes along with it. The sixth annual Boo Ball was held at the Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott Hotel on June 13th. It was a fantastic event with a great time had by all and we were able to raise a sum of around £12,500.

The money raised will go directly towards our early childhood development project, which will support around 400 children aged 3-6 years old.

The night was a lively one from the get go with a thrilling performance from Christchurch-based dance troop Mad 4 Dance along with the usual auction which was brilliantly MC’d by Andy Denison of Denisons Estate Agents.

The true highlight the night, however, was the talk given by the special guests of the night: Reverend John and Vera Packard of Boo partner Vision Africa.

The entire room fell silent and was captivated by the couple’s emotional speech and stories throughout their incredible 14 years of working with disadvantaged Kenyan children.

The next Boo Ball is scheduled for 2017 and already promised to be a memorable night. It will be an “African spectacular”. This will be a colourful event, with sounds and experiences bringing Africa to your doorstep. A change in numbers, with 300 plus places available, suggests you may need to keep a look out on their Website for updates.
