Over 150 of our supporters arrived in style to the 2016 Boo Ball, held on the 18th June at AFC Bournemouth, to celebrate the efforts and successes that have been achieved over the past year. Over £18,000 was raised on the night, surpassing our expectations and also beating last years total!

100% of the money raised from the evening will help fund our supported projects – the Life Skills Centre, St Andrews Baby Unit, ECD Programmes and Kibera Mpira Mtanni Football Programme.

The night kicked off with a drinks reception and three-course meal, with the charity auction going down a storm (MC Tony Brown kept everyone entertained!). And live music from The Brightside Band saw the dancefloor quickly fill up.

We were very honoured to have the founders of Vision Africa Reverend and Mrs Packard as our guests, to share their knowledge and experiences. Boo co-founder Russell and Trustee Mark gave heartfelt speeches on the history of Boo and detailed what has been achieved with such a relatively small amount over the past 12 months.

We would like to say a huge thank you again to Boo’s supporters for making the Ball a fantastic success.

If you would like to support our fundraising efforts and continue to provide opportunity to disadvantaged children in Africa, one of the ways you can do this is to become our friend.
